Renewing My Site with AI

I’m in the middle of renewing my website. I already knew from my work that building a site takes more time than you’d expect, and this time was no exception—it’s taken a while. For now, I’ve reached a stopping point. There’s still plenty left to do, but I plan to keep updating it bit by bit as I find the time.

This was my first time really bringing AI into the process of building a site. I’d heard the rumors, but its ability to write code has improved by leaps and bounds, and I was surprised at every turn. Code that used to take me several days, it produces in an instant. There are bugs, of course, but even so, the workload feels like it’s dropped considerably.

When I look at the news, there are plenty of articles debating the merits and problems of AI, but the fact that AI has spread at a tremendous speed is, without question, reality. Even now, in 2026, I think we’re already watching and reading AI-generated videos, images, and text in our daily lives without realizing it. And we’re probably being influenced by that content, too, without ever being aware of it.
In the midst of this great wave of change, I want to carefully observe what kind of influence it has on me, and how my own awareness and senses shift from here on.
